Graduation

Last Monday Nate graduated Fire recruit school. They held the ceremony for all 28 recruits in the theater room in the Las Vegas Library. The Ceremony was really great I had no idea it would be that emotional. A few of the captains and instructor's spoke and they gave awards out to the valedictorian and the salute atorian (the runner up). Then also announced that they were going to give an award they called the instructors award. They went on saying that they as instructor's picked one of the recruits they thought put the most time and effort in class and asked Nate to come down to the podium. I was already feeling so proud about the graduation, but it was so hard for me to not cry, especially because Nate deserves recognition for being a hard worker. They also showed a great slide show of them practicing different fire skills, pinned their fire badge on them, and ended by saying that Clark County Fire Department is one of the largest fire departments in the Nation. Anyway, It was such a happy day for all of us and I am so proud of Nate.

Nate and his fellow classmates actually designed this class plaque... isn't it cool! This will go in the Firefighting training Center (where all the others are)

On another Note, Boston just started to crawl yesterday. He has been scooting a lot but now he crawls great! my little guy is growing up so fast.
