This weekend was pretty eventful. Thursday night I went to see the midnight showing of Twilight. I was a little worried I might get tired since I can't remember the last time I stayed up that late. To top that off my ticket was for the 12:10 showing, and I snuck in with my group that was seeing the 12:01 showing. I was so sneaky and I haven't done anything like that since..who knows when. I kind of felt like I was in high school, staying up late with teenagers and being sneaky.. Anyway, I really enjoyed the movie and can't wait to buy it on DVD. I also heard that they are going to make New Moon a movie. Any of you who haven't read the series you better get on it.
Yesterday I went to the Ellen show here in LV. It was a lot of fun too! It was in the Colosseum at the Caesar's palace. If you have ever been to the Colosseum for a show it is pretty large and seats 4,000 people. The funniest part was the dance offs they did before Ellen came on. They pick 2 random people out of the audience and see who is better. One time they had this old grandma and a woman in her late 20's together. I almost peed my pants. I also laughed hard when this magician came on the stage and did a magic show. He had this huge fan in front of him so his hair would blow away from his face. You'll understand if you watch it. Pink performed last and was awesome. It was fun and I want to go to another show of hers, anyone want to come?

I wish you were here. We could of gone to the midnight showing together. I was able to go too. It was sooooo good. I love it. I applied to get ticked to the Ellen show and I never heard anything. Bummer. I am jealous you got to go. Next time I am for sure there!!
That's awesome you got to see Ellen. She is so funny. One of my friends went to the same show you went to. She said she got front row seats. Was it cool to see Bette Midler again?
Yay for sewing!:) You will have to post pictures of your projects! I am so jealous you got to see Ellen. I bet it was a blast. I promise I was thinking of driving down to Vegas by myself to see the show:) That is so funny that you "snuck" into the show ha ha! I am glad you liked the movie I have heard some good and some bad.. I will for sure see it now.
I still haven't read the Twilight series yet, maybe one of these days I'll get around to it. I'm super jelouse you went to the Ellen show...I love her...I'm down for next time for sure!!!

I was a little worried that it might be just ok because the books are so good and I didn't know if the movie would be as good, but I really like it. That is awesome you went to the Ellen show. SO neat little random fact. So there is this old white house in twilight(I am not all up on twilight)and i just so happen to work 5 miles from it and live about 10 miles from it. Lucky me they say its haunted, and i work graveyard.....I wonder how far gohst can travel? Well sad news is last night 12/14/08 at 11pm it cought fire. But good news, the great Corrbet volunteer fire department saved it. The view from the house is amazing and also close to Multnomah falls. So if you come visit the Nelson's in Oregon we can take you there.
