So we've decided that Boston is ready to be potty trained. Yesterday, I began the "Potty Training Experience" and let me tell you I had NO idea what I was getting myself into. He started rocky and was successful by the evening. I thought about quitting but re-read what the signs were for readiness and luckily he was classified as "Ready". One thing I didn't realize about potty training is this person I have to be. I should just call myself the Potty Police. I can't do anything except ask him constantly if he needs to go potty and follow him around. UGH! Well, now that we started and gotten this far no turning back.
Today he is doing really well and hasn't wet himself yet. I'm hoping it will continue to go well. If any of you have advice I would love it!
Wish me Luck!
P.s thanks to those that have already given me excellent advice. I can't thank you enough...

Let me know how it goes...I will be needing a lot of help!
We are in the same situation. I saw on facebook you can't get him to go #2. WE have the same problem. I am just hoping after time it will click. If you get an answer let me know. Cute pics of your cute kids.
That is such a great picture of Boston! You are funny - potty police. :o) It is such a big task to potty train! I am so glad Boston is doing great now.
Your'e probably farther then I am at it. Alan is terrified of the toilet. I've gone as far as asking him if he needs to go, but he screams Nooooooooooooooo! Good luck. Please send me any advise you may have. You would think after doing this 5 times already I wouldn't need any, but i've never had a child so afraid of the toilet.
