(May 21-22nd)
Our friends, Lisa and Norm drove down to LV for a weekend getaway. We were lucky enough to convince them to hang out with us. We went swimming, ate at Bob Taylor's Ranch house, went downtown, got a make over on our eyes by MAC (Just Lisa and I of course), interrupted Norm too much(sorry), laughed and had a blast! thanks for such a fun time!
(May 25th-27th)
The morning of the 25th we talked about what we wanted to do that day. Then we both decided California sounded fun! We made a hotel reservation, I ran and got the kids bags packed and Nate pretty much packed our whole fridge in the cooler. It was the most spontaneous thing we have ever done. We stayed at Mission Bay, San Diego and it was beautiful. we visited La Jolla Beach, Mission Beach, and Pacific Beach. We stopped at the coolest over look in La Jolla. Also drove to Coronado Beach and now know why it is named one of the top best beaches in Cali.

The weather was perfect and refreshing. I already miss it and wish it was our permanent residence.

May 28-30th)
Next weekend, my Sister and Brother in law flew down to visit. We went to Town Square, shopped, stopped at Yogurtland, went downtown, found that penny slots were a whole lot of fun, visited Mt. Charleston and made cupcakes. It was so fun and layed back. we miss you guys so much.
Boston couldn't get enough of Uncle Jason and Aunt Janeen. He loved every bit of the attention.

You are so funny about interrupting Norm:) ha ha! It was a blast! You guys are so spontaneous to just pick up and go to Cali. I love it! Next time we are coming for sure. Thanks for being such great friends.
How fun. I love that you guys are such great friends now. I'll have to stop next time I go through Vegas.

So many adventures. i am dying to get to the beach! If you can do it, we sure could.
It looks like you have had a busy summer so far. Your beach trip looked fun. Speaking of spontaneous, the Red Sox are playing the Rockies in Denver next week. Wanna go?
