Something about being in Hawaii was magical and just amazing. Being on the beach and gazing at the awesome scenery made us appreciate the world around us. I felt so much closer to my husband and a lot less stressed about those little things I do on a daily basis. I hope even though I can't be in Hawaii everyday I can take that non-stressed, carefree feeling with me everyday or as long as it will last. It was much needed and honestly when I think about it or look at pictures I miss it like it was my long lost friend.Something that I feel like I've taken with me home is what beauty mixed with happiness can do for you mentally and physically. It is so repairing and I am sure it's the reason why Hawaii exists.

Things I will miss....
-listening to the reggae music being played on the radio in the car
-sand in every crevice of my body.
-eating starfruit off of the tree,
-buying passion fruit, avocados off of a fruit stand,
-drinking an actual coconut from a straw then eating the rest of it along the side of the road.
-beach hopping all day
-swimming in water filled from a water fall
-seeing so much green and mossy plants around
-Oh and this tan...
back to the rest of the days........
Day Four-
Some local Hawaiian food for lunch
next stop was old Lahaina. It had some fun shopping and a lot more tourists. After shopping for a bit we sat on the beach for a couple hours to enjoy the sun. Then we got back in the car and explored some more. I remember my last trip to Maui I went to a beach called Slaughterhouse beach. We found it and did some more relaxing on the beach.
Nate enjoying the warm sand. I love how he made his own pillow out of sand.
After this beach we decided to head to the new Lahaina and get some dinner. We watched the sunset while we ate, walk around the shops, and watched this luau.
sunset and watching some local showing us his sweet skills.

Day Five-
The Hana Highway.
I have seen this before but this time was by far my favorite time. We stopped a lot to take pictures of the waterfalls along the way and the beautiful green around us.
Eucalyptus trees. This doesn't show how awesome this tree really was.

We were so hungry and stopped at a local food stand along the road. We ate pineapple, coconut and THE best freshly made banana bread....seriously so good that I bought another one.

So green, wet, muddy and rained on us... I loved every second of it.
Day five continued.......
