1. I am loving these cooler nights. I love sleeping with the windows open and hearing crickets all night.
2. It is sadly warming up this week and I am a little bummed. I really miss Utah weather and leaves changing colors.
3. Nate has started our yard. It really is like Christmas when I look outside and see the progress. He just finished the sprinklers and sod will be in soon. I am so glad we are doing it ourselves, best decision we've made.
4. I felt like a proud mama today after Boston and I practiced his shapes. He knows most of them (except hexagon). His is soaking up so much in that brain and it's kind of exciting!
5. When we got home from church my goal was to have everyone take a nap (I was exhausted). Lay Lila down (easy) then Boston (not so much). I fell asleep a few times getting him to sleep. We both fell asleep, I woke up, fell back asleep on the couch, Lila woke up screaming and then the relief society presidency knocked on the door and woke up Boston. I was peeved to say the least and I wish they would just call first. I was still a little out of it because I had just woke up. I love how I asked them if they were my visiting teachers (they just got a new presidency) and they looked at me like...(crickets in the back ground.."Uh, no we are the relief society presidency and we are just coming by to see how you are?") why is it that I am constantly making a fool out of my self in this new ward. Oh yeah, because I am trying really hard to make friends with them.
6. I am in desperate need of new clothes but I think Boston more. He has gone through a huge growth spurt and nothing fits. The poor kid looks homely.
7. I love Halloween and put up my 3 pieces of decor last week. It makes me feel so happy. I also got the kids costumes. Lila will be Dorothy and Boston's I am just not sure I want him to wear his..LOL! you see he is in this hat phase and saw this hat and wanted this costume. I thought well if he really wants it I will get it for him. It's Peter Pan.. it's basically green pants and shirt with a hat. we will see (it was cheap anyway if we change it...ha ha!)
8. A couple of weeks ago, my mom sent a box of dog toys for Ruby. (They had a doggie day at her work and gave her free toys). We love them all thanks mom! We especially love the laser light. Ruby will chase that light all night and it never gets old for us. We laugh every time!
9. I put the kids to bed at 7pm and 8pm. I have had so much me time tonight it has been great!
10. Hope tomorrow brings good times!

Janette you are a great photographer! I love all of your cute pictures!!!! Have you taken a class? I totally feel you on the RS showing up and waking up your babies! Man that is rough. ESPECIALLY when you NEED them to sleep!!! New wards can be so tough. We're in a new one too and I am trying SOOO hard to get beyond my little handfull of people I know. Keep being a sweetheart and they won't be able to resist! I think you are so adorable and I have loved becoming friends!!! :):) Have a good one!

ANd I can't imagine you ever trying to make friends...seems like your personality and cuteness...and they'd be flocking. :)
